After 20 years working as a physiotherapist in outpatients in the NHS I have set up in private practice to offer my expertise in musculo-skeletal conditions. I have worked as a extended scope practitioner and clinical specialist in South Wales and Hereford. This involved seeing patients in specialist spinal, shoulder and knee clinics alongside the Orthopaedic Consultants. I also worked in a busy outpatients department, responsible as a clinical lead for other physiotherapists, teaching and advising on complex patient symptom presentations.

13 years ago after attending courses on myofascial release I became intrigued by the amazing results I was seeing with my patients in the physiotherapy department. I investigated  this concept further which led to a course in Craniosacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute. I realised patients were experiencing dramatic changes in their symptoms. CST also had amazing results with those patients who had chronic aches & pains that did not seem to respond to other forms of therapy.

I formalised my training with a 2 year Diploma course in Craniosacral Therapy with the Institute Of Craniosacral Therapy.  This has been life changing in many respects and it has enhanced and shaped the way  I work.  

Both Physiotherapy and Craniosacral Therapy are excellant treatments individually but also work well in combination. Knowledge of posture and specific strengthening exercises can be very useful to compliment the physical changes that can occur with both forms of therapy.
